Senior Steward:   Ms. Susan Stevens

We are a small, friendly orientated fellowship.  Our Sunday morning worship is held at 10.00am with Communion once a month.  On the third Sunday at 6.30pm we join with Coulsdon Methodist Church for communion at either Whitethorn Avenue Methodist Church or at Coulsdon Methodist Church.  Please see the link to the services to see when our morning Communion takes place and the venue for the evening Communion.  All our warmly welcomed to our services.

On the second Saturday of the month we host Messy Church from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.

On the first Tuesday in the month the Church is open for prayer from 9:30am and from 10:30am until 12 noon the Church hall is open for Coffee, Cake and Company to which all are welcome.  The Church remains open for prayer or meditation during this time.

Prayer requests are welcome from the local community and a list is read out at our Tuesday and Sunday prayer meetings.  We also have a prayer chain of people who are contacted in times of urgent need.

Bible Study is held in the hall every other Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Every fourth
Wednesday in the month we have a lunch club from 12 noon to 3:00pm.  This is open to all in the neighbourhood.

We are active members of Churches Together in Coulsdon, attending joint services and events including the Good Friday Walk of Witness.  We join with three churches in the Reigate and Banstead area for the Women’s World Day of Prayer.

Our mission statement is that we “exist to worship God and to encourage the community to experience God’s unconditional love and His offer of new life through Jesus Christ.”

We also encourage community groups and other appropriate organisations to hire the facilities available at the Church.  Please email whitethornbookings@gmail.com for further details.
